The Venice area is unique, known for layers of fossils that are accesible just off the shore. You can dive for them (max depth 25') right from the shore. This guided dive sends you out with a Divemaster to explore one of the local fissil dive sites. The dive includes any scuba equipment you need as well. The dives meet at 9:00AM at the store to gear up and then choose one of the local sites based on diver's needs, weather, etc. Plan on about an hour or so dive (bsed on air consumption). 

The guide will help you gear up and locate some of the better area for picking fossils off-shore. Bring a towel, snacks and drinks as needed. The experience generally is done at about 12:00 to 1:00, based on your pace.
