Sea to Shore: Clean & Explore” - Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Ken Thompson Park in Sarasota, FL. Join Florida Underwater Sports and celebrate World Oceans Week in a three-part cleanup: land, surface, and sea. This event will offer you the opportunity to contribute to a cause that is close to our hearts—protecting our beautiful coastlines. The address is 1600 Ken Thompson Pky, We will use the Keating Building ( 1st building on your left coming down Ken Thompson), There is parking at the building and across the street. Entries will be from the dock, exit can be dock or set of stairs.

Join us on June 14, 2025 for hot coffee, fresh donuts and a fun beach dive as part of Mote’s Sea to Shore: Clean & Explore. Our monthly complimentary Donut Dives are always a great way to meet new dive buddies, test new gear, work on buoyancy and have fun. This month we’ll be coordinating with Mote on a sea and shore cleanup so be prepared to pick up some trash. Are you PADI Dive Against Debris certified? Call the shop to get your certification as part of participation in this dive.

What: Donut Dive Hosted by Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and Florida Underwater Sports

When: June 14, 2025 Note the date for this month

  • 8:00 – 8:45  Meet at site, check in, sign waiver. Bring dive certification. Enjoy coffee, donuts and conversation with fellow divers.
    8:45-9:10 AM  Gear up, dive briefing and check out before hitting the water.  
    10:30 AM   Out of the water and check in from your dive. 
  • Be sure to bring your dive certification.

Where: Mote Keating Educational Center 1599 Ken Thompson Pkwy., Sarasota, FL 34236 (the first building on your left coming down Ken Thompson). There is parking at the building and across the street. Entries will be from the dock and exits from the pier or a set of stairs.

If you have questions or need to rent gear, call the shop or stop by. We open at 8:00 am on Saturday, so you can pick up rental gear the morning of the dive.
