Tec 40

Technical diving means going beyond recreational scuba diving time and depth limits. It can be used to classify cave or closed circuit rebreather diving. But, tec divers will tell you that a lot if it is about the training, challenge and adventure of exploring places most people cannot or have not gone. Tec diving is not for everyone but it does attract experienced divers who want to go beyond their current limits and are willing to accept the added risks, training, investment and commitment it demands.

The goal of open circuit technical diving classes is to extend your range between 130 and 300 feet. This requires additional equipment and training in new techniques and a strong commitment. The progression is training using air between 130 - 165', then using normoxic trimix blends to 200' , followed by hypoxic trimix training up to 300'.

We run scheduled and on-demand classes throughout Florida and the Caribbean. Minimum age to start is 18 years old.  Give us a call to get more information or sign up for class.
