Spend a day learning about coral reef science, helping fragment coral utilizing Mote’s science to create genetically identical duplicates that grow as much as 50x faster than a natural coral, maintaining Mote’s expansive in-water nurseries, outplanting on designated reefs, and earn a certification upon program completion.
Price includes a coral restoration workshop, training on coral fragmentation, lunch, a 2-tank dive and a citizen science card on day one. Day 2 will be 2 dives with Horizon Divers from Key Largo on a 2-tank shallow reef site. Note: Scuba equipment rental is not included but can be arranged`
Price is $595 and includes:
-Coral restoration workshop
-Training on coral fragmentation and lunch,
-2-tank dive coral outplanting dive
-Citizen science card
-2-tank shallow reef dive
-2 nights accommodation on the water at Creekside INN (ppdo)
-tanks and weights
-Complimentary bus transport to and from Key Largo and trip sites.
